Through these tours, the president seeks to bring the government to historically forgotten regions.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is visiting the municipality of Araguatins, in the northern state of Tocantins, where he will pursue an agenda focused on land reform, regularizing and strengthening family farming.

Brasilia.- There, the president will lead the symbolic delivery of land titles and announce a series of measures aimed at expanding support for small rural producers, with special attention to traditional communities and peasant settlements.

The activity was jointly organized by the Ministries of Management and Innovation in Public Services, Agrarian Development and Family Farming, the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform, and the Secretariat of National Heritage, aimed at boosting social justice and sustainability in rural areas.

The presence of community leaders, representatives of social movements, rural unions, and local authorities will reinforce the political and social tone of the event.

Through these tours, the president seeks to bring the government to historically forgotten regions, demonstrate concrete results, and rebuild ties with popular sectors that have felt abandoned in recent years.

With Lula’s presence in Araguatins, the former labor leader seeks to show that governing means being close to the people, especially those living in rural areas excluded from national decisions.

According to sources, Lula is working to reinstate the state’s historic commitment to agrarian reform, not as a symbol, but as a concrete tool to democratize access to land, guarantee rights, and promote a more inclusive and sustainable agricultural model. (PL)
