Havana, Cuba.- On its Twitter account, the Ministry highlights statements made by President Miguel Díaz-Canel over the weekend, who stressed the commitment to gain the release of Assel Herrera and Landy Rodríguez, who are an internal medicine doctor and a surgeon.
The Public Health Ministry reported on April 12 about the kidnapping of the two Cuban physicians who were cooperating in Kenya, and added communication channels had been set up with Kenyan authorities to solve as soon as possible the situation.
Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez also reported he had talked by telephone with his Kenyan peer, Monica Juma, about ongoing actions.
