Many communities in Las Tunas have enjoyed the work of the sports promoters this summer, who have an active presence in each Popular Council.

Las Tunas, Cuba: About 940 teachers and trainers, and 900 activists have created various recreational activities. Amadito Ayala Torres, methodologist of the Provincial Sports Directorate, highlights the street plans, popular sports championships, sports-recreational festivals, traditional games, and community playrooms. All have been widely accepted, mainly among children and young people.

This force has also worked on the repair of areas and facilities: 530 permanent spaces have been enabled in the neighborhoods, spaces that were added to collective fun.
