Cuba will participate in the 11th United Kingdom-Caribbean Forum with a delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal, the Cuban Foreign Ministry announced.
Havana, Cuba.- The meeting will open this May 18, in Kingston, Jamaica, and Cuba attends the event as an observer, in response to an invitation from the host country.
According to the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the meeting will promote high-level exchanges among the United Kingdom, the members of the Caribbean Community, and other territories in the region, on issues of common interest.
The Cuban delegation will share experiences of its collaboration with the countries of the region, and reiterate its willingness to continue to participate in cooperation projects in vital sectors, the press release said. (PL)
