COVID-19 in Cuba

The National Director of Epidemiology, Dr. Francisco Durán García said Cuba diagnosed 57 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing to 4933 the number of people who have contracted the disease on the island. 

Havana, Cuba.- Addressing the daily media update on the disease on Thursday, Durán said 56 patients were Cuban, and almost all of them were confirmed case contacts who had already been hospitalized at the moment of testing positive.

Ciego de Ávila and Havana remain the most affected provinces, with 35 and 27 cases respectively.

As of 12 o clock midnight, 1874 people were admitted to isolation centers and 952 of them were confirmed cases. (RHC)
