Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez pays an official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia on Aug. 22 and 23, the Foreign Ministry announced.
Havana, Cuba.- Rodríguez's agenda includes meetings with high-level officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Parliament of that country and will hold meetings with members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society.
The visit takes place in the context of the 35th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between both nations.
The source said it would be an excellent opportunity to exchange on issues of common interest and ratify the will to strengthen bilateral ties. (PL)
