Havana, Cuba.- During a meeting in La Habana, the foreign ministers reviewed issues on the international agenda and their impact on countries in the region, while insisting on the need for solidarity to face common problems.

Rodríguez thanked the Central American nation for its support in denouncing the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the island, according to the Foreign Ministry's website Cubaminrex.

For his part, Belize's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Immigration expressed his recognition for the outstanding work of the Cuban Medical Brigade in that Caribbean country.

He also expressed his gratitude for Cuba's important contribution to the training of human resources, as well as the cooperation existing between both States in international forums.

Courtenay is part of a delegation headed by the Prime Minister of that Central American territory, John Antonio Briceño, who is on an official visit to Cuba until next Saturday. (RHC)
