In the municipality of Amancio, this tax campaign does not show the desired results, according to statements by Nilda Albor, a taxpayer service specialist at the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT) in this town in the south of the province of Las Tunas. 

“This has been a complex year, also characterized by the worsening of the blockade and a tense financial situation, but it should be noted that delinquencies persist on the part of financial taxpayers, despite the benefits given as a result of the effects of the Covid-19 ”, said the specialist.

She also referred to the behavior of this campaign in the agricultural sector, in which only 67.9 percent has been achieved, to which the artistic sector and self-employees, with low percentages, are added.

She recalled that this payment of taxes also includes those who have ownership and possession of boats and land transportation and in the case of legal persons; in "Amancio" there are 56 entities, with eight remaining to fulfill their duties, while natural persons also show their tax obligations.

Among the measures that must be adopted by the ONAT, the specialist explained that upon reaching the deadline, the corresponding measures and sanctions will be applied to the omissive persons, so the call is to go to them immediately. offices and comply with what is established by law.
