The introduction of the new information and communication technologies was among the presented papers

Innovators from several Cuban provinces presented their experiences concerning works already applied in the units belonging to their respective provincial companies, during the National Workshop on Generalization in Transport.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Adaptation works of pieces and parts that have facilitated the operation of vehicles and the introduction of new information and communication technologies, among other topics, were presented in this city; as well as a conference entitled Smart companies in the transport sector, by engineer William Amed Tamayo, a technology specialist at the local CARDINAL Company.

The work of the base business unit of the municipality of Buey Arriba, Granma, was distinguished for its results in the digital application in the daily billing of the activity of buses and cargo equipment.

It also meant, the adaptation to speed boxes in articulated buses, a presentation by a work group from Mayabeque, which gave a solution to an old problem that threatened the good technical condition of the mentioned piece and caused paralysis of that means of public transport.

The event, which was held in the halls of Major General Vicente García Revolution Plaza, included the development of a business round and an award ceremony for the winning papers.
