Las Palmeras theme park has varied offers for the summer

Art, nature, and recreation are combined in the Las Palmeras theme park, in this city, a space that offers the families of Las Tunas a gastronomic complex of three ranches and an equal number of swimming pools ready to be enjoyed during the summer season.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Alexander Leyva Palmero, director of the basic business unit (UEB in Spanish) Parque Temático, told the Cuban News Agency that the facility of more than 40 hectares has its doors open to the people with varied offers of Creole food, as well as drinks and jams.

The spa welcomes the population, especially children, adolescents, and young people who have already finished their educational period, with its service of renting deck chairs and the possibility of enjoying a pleasant recreation amid the warm temperatures of these summer months, the director pointed out.

Leyva Palmero also explained that other facilities of the Park are maintained, such as the well-known Labyrinth, an enigmatic natural space that attracts the attention of locals and visitors for its beauty for taking photographs and celebrating 15 and weddings.

Similarly, the picnic area, built entirely of wood in the purest country style, serves as a site for those who wish to celebrate family reunions, graduations, birthdays, and celebrations of entities that choose this place as a stage to recognize the achievements of their work groups.

The mango plantations cover a large part of the park, located approximately at the Vicente García González Revolution Square and the Las Tunas Hotel, which make up a large natural complex that also welcomes families to exercise or simply enjoy the outdoors.

Las Palmeras theme park also includes interpretive trails and areas for camping and exhibitions, intending to promote knowledge of applied and natural sciences through recreation.

Of great importance are the 12 monumental works that are located in different parts of the facility, a sculptural contribution that consolidates Las Tunas as the capital of this manifestation of the plastic arts.
