Manatí is among the best territories in the FMC action

The women of the municipality of Manatí received the Flag 60 Aniversario of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) from the hands of Teresa Amarelle Boué, its secretary-general.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The northern territory was ratified as one of the most prominent in the country in the actions of the women's organization.

During the ceremony, a house built in the subsidy modality was delivered to Laritza Álvarez, mother of three minors, a gesture that was highlighted by Yaneidis Pérez, FMC provincial secretary, as one of the benefits of the Revolution.

The Capitán Geonel Rodríguez Cordoví elementary school, in the community of Villa Verde, was reopened as part of the activities that celebrate the anniversary of the FMC in the province. The 19 students that make up the enrollment of the school will resume the 2019-2020 academic period on September 1 in more comfortable premises after a major repair.

The Manatí 2 photovoltaic solar park, with an installed power of 2.2 MW, was another of the inaugurated works. Its entry into operation will significantly contribute to the economic and social development of the region, as solar energy is one of the main alternatives to replace fossil fuels in the generation of electricity.
