Hotel and Tourism Workers' Day

The way in which Hotel and Tourism workers have adapted offers and customer service in the midst of the new coronavirus pandemic could mean a sign of growth in the face of difficulties and a reason to celebrate their National Day, today March 4, in honor of the Moncada assailant Elpidio Sosa.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Even when current epidemiological conditions restrict acts and celebrations, this is a date for the recognition of the work carried out in the last stage. Víctor Manuel Lemagne Sánchez, secretary-general of the National Union of Hotel and Tourism Workers (SNTHT, by its Spanish acronym), told the Cuban News Agency that in all the centers they will commemorate the significant anniversary because reasons are not lacking.
