Egypt's imports totaled 37,054 million dollars, while exports totaled 21,505 million.

Egypt's foreign trade reached 58,559 million dollars in the first semester of the 2022-2023 fiscal year, the Central Bank (ECB) reported.

Cairo.- According to a statement from the entity, imports totaled 37,054 million dollars, while exports totaled 21,505 million.

The ECB explained that the commercial exchange between Egypt and its 14 main trading partners represented 62.9 percent of the total, reaching 36,821 million dollars.

By country, the United Arab Emirates ranked first, with a volume of 4,873 million dollars, followed by China (4,114 million), the United States (4,040 million), Saudi Arabia (3,550 million) and Türkiye (2,686 million).

The institution explained that the list also includes Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. (PL)
