6th Expopyme 2023

More than 130 small and medium-sized companies from Nicaragua are participating today in the 6th edition of Expopyme 2023, an initiative focused on creating strategic alliances in the value chain that seek to internationalize products.

Managua.- The fair takes place at the Olof Palme Convention Center in this capital, and companies from agribusiness, technology, crafts, cabinetmaking, textiles, gastronomy, commerce, and services are present.

Organized by the National Creative Economy Commission, the three-day event has conference spaces with national and foreign experts to strengthen commercial ties and business networks, as well as practical workshops and gastronomy tasting.

According to the organizers, the event also seeks to identify technological and financial potential and creative talents to improve production models.

The coordinator of the National Creative Economy Commission, Camila Ortega, recognized the articulated work carried out by the Sandinista Government to generate opportunities for Nicaraguan MSMEs. “(…)We are moving forward and opening new doors. We recently signed the Free Trade Agreement with China that will come into force in January and opens up a huge opportunity for all these ventures to be linked with companies from this great country,” said presidential advisor Laureano Ortega.

For representatives of small and medium-sized companies, Expopyme is an opportunity to promote their products, make themselves known in the national market, and look abroad since the platform also supports the search for marketing channels. (PL)
