The U.S. representative publicly rejected the resolution presented by Cuba, “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba,” within the framework of the United Nations General Assembly and ignored the demands of the foreign ministers of the world in favor of the Island.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- As usual, the U.S. diplomat reiterated the will of his Government to maintain the economic blockade and masked his actions by saying that it is all a tool to provide the Cuban people with what he described as "democracy."

He cynically pointed out that they recognize the challenges faced by the inhabitants of this country and alleged that - supposedly for their well-being-, they dedicate billions of dollars every year to supply the people with food, medicines, agricultural inputs, among other basic necessities.

In rejection of the position of the United States Government, the representatives of many nations reiterated at the UN their support and willingness to cooperate with Cuba, and denounced the damage caused to the country over six decades. The world once again says NO to the cruel and unjust U.S. blockade policy against #Cuba.
