The health authorities of the territory report today 51 discharges of suspected patients in isolation centers, for which a total of 17 remain admitted; of them, three in Los Cocos, four in Los Caciques, four in Aguada de Vázquez, five in the Family Club and one in the Ernesto Guevara hospital.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Likewise, three people are under surveillance at the Lenin campus of the University of Las Tunas for being contacts of suspects; while 166 nationals are controlled by the health system: 69 in isolation centers and 97 in their communities.

For COVID-19, 16 samples of nasopharyngeal exudates were studied and all were negative. To date, more than 1,430 fast kit testing have also been applied.
The only three positive cases in the province have a favorable evolution.

Despite the stability of the epidemiological situation regarding the new coronavirus, hygiene and social distancing measures must be maintained. There is no need to trust in the apparent calm; the slightest carelessness can reverse the picture, and that would be really unfortunate.
