The National Association of Economists and Accountants (ANEC) celebrated its 44th anniversary, and representatives of this sector came to LUDEMA Furniture to pay tribute to the greatest economist, Ernesto Che Guevara.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The meeting recognized the associates with an outstanding career path of more than 15 years, some up to 40, in the organization, serving as economists, accountants, and auditors, in each company.

Likewise, the two winning entities of the Provincial Prize for the 2023 Economic Productive Conference were announced, awards obtained by LUDEMA Furniture and the Electric Company, which demonstrated, during a whole year of challenges, that joint work can solve many obstacles and contribute the country's economy.

The call to the 9th ANEC Congress was also launched, and everyone's participation in the base assemblies was urged, from which the main proposals and suggestions should emerge.

At the conclusions of the meeting, Ernesto Luis Cruz Reyes, the vice governor in the territory, told those present that "This anniversary comes in style and compels us to enhance the opportunities for improvement, research, and collaboration of ANEC members, apply inclusive and participatory approaches, and promote alliances with educational, productive and service institutions linked to issues that directly impact the economic results of the country.

"To date, you have been protagonists in the economic activity of the province. By celebrating this date, we call on you to work with greater intentionality in updating the guidelines of the economic and social policy of the Party (Cuban Communist Party) and the Revolution."
