Electricians work to solve breakdowns

The interruptions caused to the Electro-energetic System in recent days, caused by different hydrometeorological events, keep the workers of the Electric Company awake, who join forces to solve each of the damages.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The storm that affected the municipalities of Jobabo, Las Tunas, and Majibacoa made the work of the electricians more complex; they were about to complete the repair of the breakdowns caused by the rains and the floods as a result of the trough of the second week this month.

Yordi Vega Espinosa, director of Dispatch at the Electric Company, reported that there are still many pending service shortages in the territory. "We are working to solve these. The most critical cases are located in Jobabo, while clients in the main municipality and Puerto Padre also continue to be affected."

A total of three work groups left the provincial capital for Jobabo, as part of the support teams that are moving through the south of Las Tunas at the moment while, in "Colombia," the local workers managed to control the situation.

The commitment of the sector is more than evident given this panorama, to which the complexities of reaching some locations are added.
