The Soda Libre cafeteria, located a few meters from the main train station in Las Tunas, has reopened to the public after a long process of restoration that included changes in infrastructure and services.

Las Tunas, Cuba - Now a point of sale belonging to the La Arboleda Base Business Unit (UEB by its acronym in Spanish), it already shows a renewed image, with a varied gastronomic offer that allows the consumption of bread, sweets, and jams, to visitors who come from all parts of the Las Tunas geography and other provinces.

Roger Luis Nieves Fournier, communications and marketing specialist of the Commerce Business Group in Las Tunas, explained exclusively to the Cuban News Agency that the site also offers the facilities of electronic payment gateways for digital payment, both through EnZona and Transfermóvil.

Being a place of access for people passing through these parts, the table shows proposals at much more affordable prices than other units in the sector; nevertheless, we must continue to consolidate it with lower costs and a much broader and quality menu, said the communicator.

Also, as a priority, we decided to build here a mini-factory for the production of sweets and bread, so that we can save time and additional expenses that we currently have, for example, in transportation," said Bárbara Brito Caballero, director of the UEB.

Although Soda Libre does not yet offer light Creole dishes, Brito Caballero intends to create logistical facilities to sell ajíaco, croquettes, and caldosa. This desire could make this place one of the most popular in the gastronomic offer of Las Tunas.

Anyone in transit will be able to access Soda Libre, explained the director. Still, the most important thing is to provide services to the hundreds of travelers who gather daily at the railway and intercity bus terminals, located in a growing city center in an environment made up of the Transportation Center, the Ferroviario Hotel and the La Arboleda gastronomic complex.
