The FMC secretary-general toured communities in Manatí

Teresa Amarelle Boué, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and secretary-general of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), today toured areas of community interest in the northern municipality of Manatí, to insist on the support of the women's organization to the implementation of the Ordering Task and actions against the COVID-19.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- According to the information shared by Arian Laverdeza Reyes, a journalist from the La Voz del Faro municipal radio station, who is also a member of the Council of State, exchanged on her tour with federated women from Delegation 5 of Block 2 of the territory, and with health workers from the family doctor's office located in the Constituency 4 of the Popular Council 1, with the aim of advocating for the strengthening of the activism of the health brigade members in order to continue preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2.

Amarelle Boué was accompanied by political leaders in the province and the municipality, who visited the Family Attention System unit located in the Las Brisas restaurant, where food services to grandparents who live in the area guaranteed.

On various occasions, Teresa Amarelle Boué has reiterated that the FMC is decisive in developing community work. And right now, the priorities are focused on being together with the people in the implementation of the new economic strategy and saving lives.
