113 illegalities have been detected, committed by coachmen, drivers of private trucks and cars, among others

The Comprehensive Supervision Directorate of the province of Las Tunas undertakes an offensive aimed at detecting illegalities, violations, and infractions, for which they have already carried out more than 1,500 control actions so far this year.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Juan Miguel Infante, director of the entity, explained to the Cuban News Agency that until January 20, almost three thousand measures were adopted for different reasons, including 524 fines related to price violations.

The manager explained that this work is carried out by 150 inspectors who work in duo at the popular council level, who, in addition to ensuring compliance with the legislation, are aware of the concerns of the population.

The experiences of 2020 and those accumulated so far in January - he stressed - will be analyzed in seminars that will be developed soon, with the purpose of improving supervision.

To expand on the subject, the deputy director of the agency, Eugenio Peña Morales, said that 113 illegalities have been detected, committed by coachmen, drivers of private trucks and cars, pedicab owners, recorders of USB drives, and sellers of pork meat, medicines and agricultural products.

Although the fines are equivalent to a total of almost half a million pesos, he said, the most important thing for the body of supervisors is to reverse the current situation with price violations and others that affect families.

“We continue to defend the economy when we visit centers of the state sector and maintain rigor against the undisciplined who take advantage of the current situation in the country,” reiterated Peña Morales.
