Máximo Gómez Báez bagasse board factory, located in the municipality of Jesús Menéndez

As the best gift in greeting to International Workers' Day, the group of the Máximo Gómez Báez bagasse board factory, located in the municipality of Jesús Menéndez, began its production process, interrupted for more than a year due to the lack of the metal band and serious breaks.

"Jesús Menéndez", Las Tunas.- With the commitment and dedication of its workers, plus the outstanding contribution of the movement of innovators, important repairs and maintenance were carried out in different areas of the facility, subject to a capital investment process, which, in about seven days of work, accumulates 78 cubic meters of high-quality boards.

According to the young engineer Liusdanis Ramírez Cruz, head of Production at the "Máximo Gómez", the quality of the board is perfected while the process progresses; and the production of about two thousand cubic meters of boards from four to six millimeters is expected with the new Beldorf metal band, of German origin.

To comply with this plan, the necessary raw material is available and the figure can be increased to the extent that the Majibacoa and Antonio Guiteras sugar mills deliver the bagasse.
