On Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is acting provocatively by ignoring Russia's warnings.

Moscow.- NATO leaders’ unwillingness to take into account President Vladimir Putin’s statements about the consequences of possible attacks on Russia with Western weapons is a dangerous, short-sighted, and unprofessional move, Peskov added at a press briefing.

The spokesman added that the ostentatious desire not to take the Russian president’s statements seriously is due to Mr. Stoltenberg’s extroverted nature.

Peskov stressed that after a very short time, he will no longer be held responsible for his words, but the attitude is extremely provocative and dangerous.

Earlier, Stoltenberg stated that the military bloc would not become a party to the Ukrainian conflict if it allowed Kyiv to attack Russian territory with Western weapons. (PL)
