Ceremony of signing of the Code of Ethics

Social workers of Las Tunas signed their Code of Ethics, which sets out the fundamental precepts of their work in the communities, to support the foundations of a society characterized by equal opportunities and the spiritual development of all citizens.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- In the Generals' Hall of the Major General Vicente García González Revolution Plaza, in this city, the 138 members of this social force in the municipality of Las Tunas swore, with their signature, to be faithful to the homeland, to cultivate honor, honesty, and dignity, to fulfill all their commitments, to maintain respect and discipline for the legal and ethical norms of society and the responsibilities established in the Program, not only in their daily work but also in their behavior characterized by simplicity and adherence to social justice.

Social worker Aliuska Rivero Oveja said that it is a rebirth of the force of which she is a part and ratification of the same commitment that they made when Commander in Chief Fidel Castro founded the Program 23 years ago.

Social workers have played a vital role in the social development of the province and the country, based on the principles of respect for people's dignity, the study to solve problems objectively, and the defense of the principles of the Revolution.
